SIMONE AND LUCINDA
In the early years of my marriage of being a military wife, I decided to put one of our many postings to a new town to good use by studying photography at the local tertiary institution. This was the beginning of a new world for me and I have been photographing ever since. Shortly after graduating I became a mum to a beautiful daughter, Ayva. I continued on photographing and loved the privilege of being at the forefront of making memories for each family that would last a life time. Once Ayva arrived I began to understand more and more how important it was to capture the fleeting moments you experience in life as our little bundle of joy literally grew in front of our eyes! Ayva is now thirteen and we have a eleven year old son Landon as well. I still relish looking back through their photos which capture so many moments and important people in their lives. I know this collection will be a legacy for them to look back upon and share for many years to come.
I believe memories are built around special moments and as a photographer I love the honour of being asked to capture these moments.
I went to university with intention of doing graphic design, however during my semester of photography I fell in love with photography and decided to pursue a degree in it. Apart from absolutely loving my job I also enjoy a lot of other things in life. Good food, friends and family, dance, singing, music and the list goes on. I have two young nephews who I absolutely adore, and am about to become an auntie of 3. I frequently have my camera out at family events, capturing their little personalities as they develop and grow.
Simone and I met while doing contract photography work and have since worked with each other on many projects and formed an awesome friendship. We compliment each other as a team and are always ready to be each others spare set of hands! We mix up our roles of both photographing and assisting which ensures attention to detail and a fun, relaxed environment.
We have both been police checked as we have worked in preschools and schools previously. We are happy to provide this to you upon request.
